West Ham United have been actively searching for at least one new striker this summer but there could be an attacking departure first.

According to HITC Sport, West Ham United striker Ashley Fletcher is on the radar of Watford and Burnley.

Watford and Burnley both consolidated their status as a Premier League club last year with bottom half finishes and are now looking to strengthen ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Ashley Fletcher has emerged as a target for both sides after learning that West Ham will listen to offers for him.

Fletcher only joined the Hammers last summer from Manchester United after a profitable loan spell at Barnsley.

Rather than send him out on loan, West Ham decided to keep the 21-year-old but he was only used sparingly.

The England under-20 international played 16 times for West Ham and scored one goal, although only two of those matches were starts.

Slaven Bilic was reluctant to use the towering centre forward despite the lack of options up front.

However, a large number of West Ham fans were calling for him to get more game time.

West Ham are ready to listen to offers for Ashley Fletcher if any club matches their £6m valuation.
