West Ham United are very interested in signing Joe Hart this summer and are pressing ahead with this deal, according to various media reports.

A number of reports are suggesting that the deal has got to a more advanced stage in recent days.

BBC Sport are reporting West Ham’s interest in Joe Hart and this is backed up by a number of other outlets.

According to The Daily Mail, Joe Hart will not head to the United States for Manchester City’s pre-season tour as he aims to sort out his future beforehand.

West Ham and Newcastle want him on loan, according to the Mail.

Then, according to Sky Sports News HQ (Live Transfer Blog, 11/7/2017 at 14:16 GMT), West Ham are increasing their efforts to complete this deal.

The Hammers want the England international to be their number one for next season and are pushing for a loan with an option to buy.

Manchester City would prefer to sell him.

However, the most promising report for West Ham fans comes from the London Evening Standard.

Standard Sport are reporting that West Ham are hoping to seal this transfer in the “next few days”.

The Irons see the 30-year-old as a statement signing and are looking to complete a season-long loan deal rather than a £20m move.
