So many times in recent years, West Ham fans have been left lamenting the fact they don’t have a top striker.

There is now talk about whether they could end this transfer window with too many, following ExWHUEmployee’s announcement:

ExWHUEmployee has reported numerous times that the Hammers are after Maxi Gómez, adding that any deal would likely take most of the summer.

There has also been coverage of interest in Salomón Rondón in the past, with Daily Mirror reporting the Hammers had a bid rejected for the West Ham man.

Though it is only now that it has been confirmed West Ham are hoping to have both Gómez and Rondón among their ranks this season.

This has got some supporters worried that too much of the transfer kitty is being put into getting strikers, while others are just happy to see the club getting some firepower in.

There are also those who have suggested there is no way to keep the pair of potential new comings and Marko Arnautovic happy, while others feel that the situation could be beneficial for all.
