Twitter Q+A’s are an ideal way for fans to interact with the footballing elite, whether they be your local club’s manager or a legend of the game.
But when QPR asked fans to send in their questions for manager Harry Redknapp using the #AskHarry hashtag yesterday, they were met with questions from fans all over the country who were less interested in what he thought about his current tenure at Loftus Road, but more of his thoughts on the controversial stories he has been the centre of throughout his career.
Some of the questions QPR received for ‘arry were certainly ‘triffic, but not exactly what the club were expecting, leaving them understandably embarrassed by the whole episode.
And as a former West Ham manager, Redknapp’s Twitter Q+A was also met with a barrage of questions from Hammers fans who naturally took it as the perfect opportunity to flood him with questions they’ve always wanted answers to, as well as making a clear point that he will never be forgiven for the way he treated club legend Billy Bonds, and the words he wrote about him in his recent autobiography.
Here are some of the best #AskHarry tweets from West Ham supporters yesterday…
