West Ham United announced on the club’s official website that season ticket sales had been very positive.
West Ham had a record number of season ticket renewals ahead of the 2017/18 season.
Over 90% of the season ticket holders had renewed for next season by the deadline on Wednesday at 5pm.
There were 52,000 season ticket holders last season and the number of season tickets next year has outside all of our Premier League London rivals, including Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham.
There was a mixture of a response to this news announcement with some West Ham fans praising the willpower of the fans, others calling for the board to back up the fans with signings.
Some fans were a bit more cynical, pointing out that season ticket renewals were obviously going to be higher considering the move to a bigger stadium.
Here are a selection of the best tweets in response to this season ticket renewal news being announced.

We don't need you to tell us what we are. We were here way before you lot returned.
Now show some true ambition to match ours then.— AllSportsView (@AllSportsView) June 1, 2017

Every single premier league side has season ticket drop offs. 90% is a great returning amount

Yes it's good to have 90% of our fans renew there tickets but it's not good when half of them don't go and we have empty seats
