Three players already and so far, the summer transfer window has been pretty kind to West Ham.

Ryan Fredericks, Issa Diop and Lukasz Fabianksi are all solid additions and each address problem areas in the squad that heavily contributed to what was an awful 17/18 campaign for us.

But we move through the summer in preparation for another Premier League season, we see more rumours surrounding who will be joining the aforementioned three at London Stadium. If you’re a betting man/woman then you’ll be using the bookies’ odds to track who may or may not be joining Pellegrini’s revolution before the end of the transfer window.

Former Manchester City manager Pellegrini has taken the helm and with his ambitious arrival comes high expectations for the signings coming into London Stadium. Tracking the changing odds of all players can be extremely difficult but it’s something that sites like Oddschanger pride themselves in, with daily predictions on changing odds for player transfers, as well as their own football tips on the biggest matches being played.

With around seven weeks left of the transfer window to go, it’s a-given that rumours linking players to the Hammers will only intensify and there are a number of players the bookies believe could be joining West Ham this summer…

Jermain Defoe – After last season’s move to Bournemouth did little to inspire the thirty-five-year-old, Jermain Defoe could be set to sign for another former side in West Ham. He started his professional career with the club and is still a favourable figure, which makes sense of his current 3/1 price to sign.

Joao Mario – The Portuguese international showed signs of life while on loan last season and it’s clearly been enough for him to be brought in permanently, particularly now Manuel Lanzini has been ruled out with a serious ACL injury. He was highly rated before having an underwhelming stint at Inter Milan but playing a key part in the Portugal national side is certainly justifying his 11/8 odds to sign permanently at West Ham.

Alfie Mawson – It now looks certain for Alfie Mawson to become a Hammers’ player, with it being a bit of a tussle for him since the relegation of Swansea City. The bookies are currently offering a 4/9 price for the centre-back to move to the London Stadium, so it sounds like a done deal.

Javier Pastore – Most West Ham United fans were excited by the prospect of Javier Pastore joining their club, but it looks as if the deal is all but over. His reported £190,000-a-week wages were enough to put any agreement in doubt but if anything were to change, backing him to sign at 5/1 could end up being a shrewd bet.

Salomon Rondon – With a view to raiding another recently relegated club, signing Salomon Rondon from West Bromwich Albion could be a clever deal to make. He’s currently priced at 2/1 to join and would certainly improve the thin striker options.

Jack Wilshere – The odds keep changing on Jack Wilshere’s future and he now sits with a price that has him just as likely to join Crystal Palace or West Ham. Bookmakers currently price his move to either club at 6/4 and he’s a player that always finds his way into bookie sites, as he also had plenty of special markets regarding his place in the England squad.
