Not long now. Not long until the West Ham we all love changes for the better – I can’t wait.
As we begin the countdown to the end of this season and anticipate a potential top four finish and our first FA Cup trophy since 1980, we’ve also got one eye on the incredible new stadium we’ll be calling home come August.
We’ve all seen the images, the club’s plans, the vast changes the ground has had to undergo in order to make it ready for us in time for next season.
Add to that this week’s announcement that we’re increasing the capacity from 54,000 to 60,000 in time for the big kick-off in a few months time and it doesn’t take much to get your pulses racing.
In short, our new home is going to be absolutely stunning.
But this video gives us a unique insight in to exactly what changes were made to the stadium since the Olympic Games in 2012 and the sheer level of quality it boasts.
From the new flexible seating system to the largest gravity-supported cantilever roof in the world to europe’s largest stadium video screens, the Olympic Stadium really is a world class venue – fit for a world class football club like ourselves.
Have a watch and appreciate it’s beauty for yourself.
