Steve Clarke enjoyed an impressive first season at the Baggies, but struggled earlier this season and was ultimately sacked. Whether that was because he had lost the dressing room or that he wasn’t given the money to replace Romelu Lukaku remains to be seen, but the early signs of his reign suggest he’d be a good appointment.
