Diafra Sakho made a huge impact when he came on at half-time last week against Swansea, which suggest he could partner Andy Carroll up front against Sunderland this afternoon.
Enner Valencia was a bit quiet last weekend and made way for Sakho at half-time, which could well be the same change Sam Allardyce makes today.
Mark Noble is our own injury worry, so the midfield shouldn’t be any different from last week, hopefully with Alex Song ready to boss the midfield just as he did against Swansea.
One dilemma for Allardyce will be who he partners Winston Reid with up top. Will he stick with James Tomkins, or will James Collins get a chance to impress?
Here’s how the teams line up at the Stadium of Light this afternoon…
#SAFC: Pantilimon, Vergini, Reveillere, O’Shea (c), Brown, Cattermole, Larsson, Gomez, Johnson, Wickham, Altidore.
