Slaven Bilic is insisting that he remains “very calm and focused on the game” amid rumours that his role as manager is under threat.

The Hammers boss has been the subject of much discussion from the media in recent weeks with Sky Sports News HQ claiming that the West Ham United board will review his job in the summer.

After a fantastic first season in the job, Slaven Bilic has failed to build on his 7th place finish and the Irons have struggled this year.

Currently sat 15th, avoiding relegation is still not a mathematical certainty and the next three games could be vital.

A number of managerial targets have been touted in reports, including Hull manager Marco Silva, as Bilic’s future remains cloudy.

However, amid these widespread media reports, Slaven Bilic has insisted that his focus is on the upcoming match against Tottenham Hotspur.

West Ham host high flying Spurs on Friday night at the London Stadium with the double target of securing their Premier League safety and halting Tottenham’s title race.

Bilic said that it’s not the time to talk about his position as manager.

The Croat added: “I’m very calm and focused on the game.”
