If the grapevine is to be believed, the board are holding out to see whether QPR are promoted in Saturday’s play-off final before they make a definitive decision on Sam Allardyce’s future.

That’s because they are supposedly weighing up a potential West Ham return for Harry Redknapp. Whether there’s anything in such talk remains to be seen, but the whole ‘ten day window’ they were apparently using to decide Allardyce’s fate suggests this might actually have some legs. The dates add up and there’s every reaosn to believe ‘arry would prefer a return to the top-flight over another year in the Championship should he fail to beat Derby at Wembley this weekend.

And if we do bring him back home, which is ultimately where he’d describe West Ham, it’d be interesting to see what players he’d bring along with him.

So here’s SIX potential ‘arry signings should he be the man to replace Sam Allardyce this summer. Of, course not all of them will be signed, but one or two could potentially be playing in claret and blue next year under Redknapp…
