The 2014/2015 Premier League fixtures were released on Wednesday and anyone claiming to have successfully guessed who we were going to get on the opening day would no doubt be telling porkies.
It turned out to be something of the perfect draw for us. Tottenham at home. With the memories of the famous treble still fresh in everyone’s memories, we’ve got the prefect chance to make it four in a row.
But that won’t be only big game of our season. If we’re going to take some positive steps towards reaching that top six target David Sullivan keeps going on about, then we’re going to have several ‘season defening’ moments over the next 10 or 11 months.
