According to a report by The Mirror, six Championship clubs are weighing up a swoop for West Ham United defender Reece Burke in the current transfer window.
Burke has spent the first half of the season out on loan at Bolton Wanderers and the struggling Championship outfit are keen to extend his loan deal until the end of the season.
However, they are now facing widespread competition from other teams in their division.
Second-place Derby County are another team keen on the towering centre half, who stands at 6ft 3in tall.
Bolton and Derby will compete with Sheffield United, Sunderland, Barnsley and Nottingham Forest for the youngster’s signature.
It is believed that David Moyes will run the rule over Burke now that he has returned from his loan spell at Bolton before making a decision on his future.
The 21-year-old played 15 matches for the Trotters this season, scoring one goal.
Burke burst onto the scene back in the 2014/15 season under Sam Allardyce when he was handed a run of games towards the end of the campaign.
He has played twelve times for West Ham in total, as well as spending time out on loan with Bradford City and Wigan Athletic.
But now he seems to be a man in-demand with a host of Championship clubs monitoring his situation.
