West Ham fans will certainly be concerned by the rumours that have arisen in recent weeks, suggesting that Manchester United want Marko Arnautovic.

The Hammers’ record-signing excelled in the club’s push to avoid relegation last season, scoring 11 Premier League goals, and it’s understood Jose Mourinho is keen on his signature.

Mourinho is said to be impressed by Arnautovic’s versatility and wants to add him to his ranks this summer, although it’s not clear where he’d fit into the side given United’s wealth of attacking options.

While an offer of Champions League football could be appealing, former West Ham goalkeeper Shaka Hislop has claimed ‘nobody’ would leave Manuel Pellegrini to play under Pellegrini.

Speaking to ESPN TVthe former stopper said:

“Who would leave West Ham for Man United?”

“Who would leave Pellegrini for Jose Mourinho? Nobody, nobody. In all seriousness, I like Arnautovic a lot, but I just don’t see him going to Manchester United.”

“He’s playing a big part at West Ham, I just see him as a bit-part player if he goes to Old Trafford. It doesn’t make sense to me.”
