Said Benrahma made his return to action for West Ham in their FA Cup victory over Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday.
The winger had not appeared in claret and blue since New Year’s Day due to being away at AFCON with Algeria.
But with his country having been eliminated in the group stages, Benrahma was able to return to east London sooner than initially expected.
It meant he was given a starting role against Kidderminster at Aggborough Stadium on Saturday afternoon, but he did little throughout the game to help Moyes’ men show their quality against a side competing in England’s sixth-tier.
A 91st-minute equaliser from Declan Rice and Jarrod Bowen’s 121st-minute saved West Ham’s blushes in what would’ve been the biggest FA Cup upset in the competition’s 150 year history.
And Benrahma took to Instagram after the game to reveal his happiness at being back playing for the club and hail their progress to the fifth round for a second consecutive season.
He posted: “Happy to be back in the team. Direction the next round of the FA Cup.”
