West Ham continue to push for further signings under Manuel Pellegrini but an end appears to be in sight.

The Hammers have invested heavily in their squad to bring in the likes of Andriy Yarmolenko, Felipe Anderson, Jack Wilshere and Issa Diop and Pellegrini is now pushing towards the final pieces of his puzzle at the London Stadium.

Deals for Arsenal misfit Lucas Perez and Fiorentina’s former Aston Villa man Carlos Sanchez are on the horizon – and that duo will bring an end to West Ham’s summer, according to The Guardian’s Jacob Steinberg.

The duo will arrive to bolster West Ham’s ranks in attack and in midfield, while it is also added that the club were interested in free agent Bernard but turned away due to his expensive demands.

Perez and Sanchez may not be immediate starters for Pellegrini’s side next season but they provide depth in key areas where the squad looked very thin.
