West Ham are set to take their number of summer signings to six with the capture of Felipe Anderson from Lazio and could then switch their attentions as a result.

A club-record deal for the Brazil international will take the club’s spending towards the £100m mark and Manuel Pellegrini is keen to balance the club’s finances.

According to a report from The Timesthe Hammers are willing to offload as many as nine players this summer in order to recoup some of the outlay they have spent in the market.

The names of Jordan Hugill, Cheikhou Kouyate, Sam Byram, Pedro Obiang, Angelo Ogbonna, Michail Antonio and Andy Carroll are unsurprising features, though there is two additional names that catch the eye.

It is mentioned that the club is willing to offload both Edmilison Fernandes and Adrian, both of whom can be seen as useful players for the first-team next term.
