West Ham ace Michail Antonio is reportedly learning how to speak Spanish, in order to form a closer bond with Hammers teammate Pablo Fornals.

According to The Athletic, the 32-year-old striker is trying to learn the language of Spanish playmaker Pablo Fornals so that they can communicate better at West Ham.

Fornals, who arrived at the club in the summer of 2019, is reportedly good friends with Antonio but is the only Spaniard within the Hammers squad.

However, Fornals has fitted in incredibly well amongst the West Ham camp, and this latest report only suggests how close-knitted and committed this Hammers team is.

The 26-year-old is known by West Ham supporters as a passionate and hard-working player in claret and blue, and his love for the club has made him a fan favourite in East London.

It is incredible to think that Michail Antonio is learning a different language to communicate with his on-field partner, and it shows on the pitch that they have formed a strong connection with each other.

It is evident throughout the squad that everyone gets along and there is no bad blood within the dressing room. The team camaraderie implemented by David Moyes when he arrived at the club for a second spell, has been one of the main driving factors for the team’s successes on the pitch.

As West Ham begin their preparations for the latter stages of the season, the players and staff know what they can achieve over the coming months.

A top-six finish and Europa League trophy will definitely be the goal for everyone associated with the Hammers, players and fans alike.

It sure is reassuring and comforting to know that the players are working hard for each other and the fans – just like Antonio is doing for Fornals.
