Ravel Morrison‘s superb display against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday looks to have convinced the club to offer him an improved contract in January, according to MirrorFootball.

The 20-year-old midfielder has been in sensational form since returning from his loan-spell with Birmingham City last season, scoring four goals in eight appearances in all competitions so far this season.

And the Hammers are reportedly preparing an brand new £65,000-a-week contract for the youngster after his goal scoring performance in the 3-0 victory at White Hart Lane made the headlines and caught the eye of Europe’s elite clubs.

It is also believed that Morrison’s £19million buy-out clause will be removed in return for a better weekly wage, particularly now that his value will have rocketed in such a short period of time this season.
