The Hammers were back in pre-season today after about six weeks of rest, and the players seemed in good spirits as they arrived at Chadwell Heath for their first day back at work.
Andy Carroll was obviously the most high profile arrival at the training ground as he returns to the club after making his loan spell permanent in a club record deal.
Captain Kevin Nolan, Mark Noble and last season’s Hammer of the Year Winston Reid were also all smiles this morning as the preparations for the 2013/2014 Premier League season get underway.
