Whichever story behind the Ravel Morrison saga you choose to believe, it’s difficult to find a real case for the club to cut all ties with him this summer.

His instant impact in the first team earlier this season was breath of fresh air for us fans, particularly under a manager who cared more for more physical, route one style players.

So his departure to QPR on loan in January was a difficult one to take and one that had us all questioning whether we’d seen the last England’s most promising youngster in a West Ham shirt.

Some fans would rather see the back of him and move on, others are desperate for the club to do all they can to keep him happy in the summer. But what does Ravel want?

Well his tweet yesterday gave a huge hint that he wants to play at West Ham again, regardless of whether it’s under Sam Allardyce or someone else.

He rubbished the rumours that his Hammers career depends on Sam Allardyce’s future and that all he wants to do is play football, which is what us fans want as well.

See his tweet below and make your own conclusions on the meaning behind it…
