New West Ham signing Flynn Downes reported for his first day at work on Monday morning and was immediately introduced to captain Declan Rice.
Rice was also reporting for his day back at work after being extended leave following his involvement in England’s Nations League fixtures last month.
Downes signed last week and immediately spoke of it being a dream come true to sign for his boyhood club, looking visibly proud to be representing the great claret and blue.
He will be playing alongside one of the best box-to-box midfielders in Declan Rice, and the pair were pictured meeting for the first time in the Rush Green car park on Monday morning, which we’re all hoping marks the beginning of a wonderful relationship between the pair.
The signs are good, too, as they both arrived wearing the same white t-shirt and tan shorts combo!
