West Ham completed a wealth of transfer business over the course of the summer but speculation regarding further deals continues to rumble on.

Manuel Pellegrini’s arrival at the London Stadium has seen the Hammers heavily linked with the services of Yaya Toure, who was a star for the Chilean boss during his successful stint at Manchester City.

The Ivory Coast international is now a free agent after his deal with the Premier League champions came to a close but Pellegrini has ruled out making a move.

Speaking ahead of the hosting of Bournemouth on Saturday, he said:

“Yaya Toure is a good player, he will always be a good player, but for the moment he is not for West Ham. For the moment, the squad is complete.”

West Ham bolstered their midfield ranks this summer with the addition of Jack Wilshere, signed from Arsenal, but it is an area where the Hammers lack depth.
