West Ham are venturing into a new era following the appointment of Manuel Pellegrini two weeks ago but reports had suggested problems have already arose.
It’s been claimed in recent days that the Chilean boss is already at loggerheads with the Hammers’ hierarchy after they reportedly refused to push ahead with moves for targets he has identified.
However, those claims have now been rebuffed from Pellegrini directly in an exclusive interview with The Daily Mirror – where he states he has a ‘good relationship’ with the West Ham board.
“I speak to Mr Sullivan regularly and we are in agreement about our approach to bringing new players to the club this summer.”
“We have already completed one very exciting signing with Ryan Fredericks coming to the club and we are working hard to bring more to West Ham for the supporters.”
“I need to make it clear that there is absolutely no problem.”
“I have been made to feel welcome by everyone at West Ham since my arrival. I already have a very good relationship with the two chairmen.”
