Sing Up for the Cockney Boys
There is no doubt that Upton Park or the Boleyn Ground, depending on your preference, has suffered more than most stadiums since the Taylor report all those years ago.

WIth about five weeks until the big kick-off, we’re all once again thinking about our Fantasy Football prospects for the new season.
As a result, West Ham World will be hosting its very own fantasy league on Sky Sports, Premier League and The Sun.
Currently it’s just Sky Sports that have opened their doors to new teams ahead of the 2012/2013 Premier League season, so below you’ll be able to find the details on how to join our league. They are all, of course, free to play.
The winner will win nothing but pride and bragging rights (unless we can conjure up some prizes throughout the season – watch this space!). Click here to register your team, if you haven’t already done so, and then use the details below to join our league.

The Fantasy Football for both the Premier League and The Sun are very close to opening as well, so keep an eye out for the log-in details for our leagues over the next few weeks.
Boreham Wood 1-1 West Ham United
Friendly
Meadow Park
Tuesday 10 July 2012
7.30pm
A make-shift Hammers side were held to a 1-1 draw by Conference South side Boreham Wood this evening.
Big Sam’s side travelled the short journey to North London to take on the non-league side at Meadow Park hoping to make improvements on their 3-1 loss to Austria Wien on Staurday.
Allardyce named two sides – one for each half – with former Wood midfielder Pelly Ruddock being name first half captain as he prepared to take on his former team mates since his move to the Hammers last winter.
Sam Baldock put the visitors in front – his second in two pre-season outings – with a deflected shot after Vaz Te unselfishly laid the ball off following a darting run through the middle of the park.
The second half saw a whole new 11 line-up for West Ham but, despite several efforts to put the game to bed, Wood equalised through substitute Effiong, who confidently slotted his shot past Jake Larkins.
Late chances from Nicky Maynard and Kevin Nolan went begging, though, and West Ham had to settle for an unlikely draw against a spirited and determined Boreham Wood side.
West Ham starting XI: Jaaskelainen, Driver, McCartney, Spence, K.Lee, Noble, Moncur, Ruddock, Fanimo, Vaz Te, Baldock.
West Ham 2nd-half XI: Larkins, Chambers, Wearen, Reid, Potts, Morrison, O’Neil, Turgott, Taylor, Nolan, Maynard.
Subs: Baxter, Shaw, Powell.
West Ham’s next pre-season match is on Saturday when they’ll make another short journey, this time to Roots Hall Stadium to take on Southend United.
As you are all aware by now I’m sure. West Ham United’s pre-season is well and truly under-way. We were one of the first clubs in the Premiership to get to work and hopefully that is a sign of Mr Allardyce trying to get the squad as sharp and as fit as possible.
With the announcement of the fixture list for the upcoming Premier League campaign, many have been salivating over the more appetizing match ups (At HOME vs Arsenal – Oct. 6, Away at Newcastle – Nov. 10, Away at Tottenham – Nov. 25, Away at Man Utd – Nov. 28, At HOME vs Chelsea – Dec. 1, etc, etc…), but what my gaze is fixed on is our first four fixtures.
