West Ham United target Dominic Calvert-Lewin would be a great addition to the Hammers squad, amid reports that the club are interested.

According to several reports, the Hammers are reportedly interested in signing Everton striker and England international Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

The Toffees frontman has had an injury-plagued season so far, and could cost the club up to £60million, according to their valuation of the striker.

However, the Hammers may face stiff competition from Premier League rivals, with Arsenal also interested in the 25-year-old.

Calvert-Lewin has shown incredible form over the past few seasons, leading the way to becoming England’s second-best striker behind Harry Kane.

He has scored 36 goals in all competitions over the past two seasons, including netting 16 last year in the Premier League alone.

His goal-scoring record speak for itself, and the natural finisher has also bagged four goals in just 11 appearances for the England national team – ever since he earned his debut cap in October 2020.

The striker has a great natural ability to find the back of the net and he is an exceptional aerial threat, a trait that Moyes can utilise in this current West Ham squad.

Calvert-Lewin is also very athletic and works hard for his team, which is now a necessity in this Hammers lineup. We have seen many players previously come and go because of their lack of motivation in the claret and blue shirt.

Despite his poor run of form and injury history this season, the target man would be a great addition to this current squad.

Everton’s reported valuation of £60million does seem a little bit excessive, but if West Ham were to sign him then they could be a force to be reckoned with next season.
