West Ham transfer target Darwin Nunez would fit perfectly in this West Ham squad.
According to A Bola, West Ham are interested in acquiring the signature of Benfica talisman Darwin Nunez during this summer’s transfer window.
The Uruguay international has been in unstoppable form this year for his club, both domestically and in European competition, attracting a large amount of interest from some of the world’s top clubs.
The 22-year-old is reportedly wanted by the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal, as well as the Hammers.
So far this season, Nunez has scored 33 goals in 39 appearances in all competitions, including six in the UEFA Champions League.
The quick and agile forward has an excellent eye for goal and his movement off the ball allows him and his teammates to create several chances in attack.
This would be a perfect fit for the Hammers, who are in desperate need for reinforcements up front – with Michail Antonio still the only senior striker in the squad.
His high work rate and good energy would fit West Ham’s playing style perfectly, and the club have needed a top goalscorer to arrive for several transfer windows now.
If the club were willing to splash out and pay at least £50million for the in-demand striker, then manager David Moyes would have another great player within his ranks.
The team are performing brilliantly this season, both in Europe and in the Premier League, and the addition of Nunez will only give supporters more news to celebrate come this summer.
