Following the conclusion of the 2021/22 Premier League season, it was confirmed that Burnley, Watford and Norwich will be relegated from the top flight this year.

However, this means that some of these clubs’ best players will be up for sale for a reduced price, so West Ham World take a look at one player from each club that the Hammers could swoop for this summer…

Emmanuel Dennis – Watford

One transfer rumour that has been linked with the Hammers, is Watford forward Emmanuel Dennis. According to The Mirror, the 24-year-old goalscorer has been heavily connected with a move to the London Stadium.

Since arriving at the start of the season, the Nigerian international has burst onto the scene. In 33 Premier League appearances, he scored 10 goals and produced a further six assists.

His quick pace and finishing ability in front of goal has made him a top target for several clubs. However, with West Ham supposedly leading the race to sign him, he could be an excellent addition to the side.

Josh Brownhill – Burnley

From Burnley, Josh Brownhill has been linked with a move to the Hammers, after the Clarets were relegated on the final day of the Premier League.

Brownhill played a pivotal role in the heart of Burnley’s midfield this season, and has stood out during a frustrating and enduring campaign.

The tough-tackling central midfielder would be excellent reinforcement now that Mark Noble has left the club, and his high work rate will definitely be something that will impress Moyes and be useful for the team.

Max Aarons – Norwich City

One final player that could be snapped up by West Ham this summer, is Norwich City right-back Max Aarons.

Whilst the Hammers haven’t actually been linked with the 22-year-old yet, we believe that he could be an excellent addition to the squad.

With Norwich already stating that he could leave the club in the next few months, Manchester United and Arsenal are leading the way to snap up his signature.

However, his fast pace and defensive qualities would help him fit in nicely with the Hammers next year and add more squad depth. For £20million, this should definitely be one player that Moyes should consider buying.
