Speculation grew on social media this week, after the 25-year-old central midfielder deleted all of his Brighton Instagram pictures and placed an ‘irons’ emoji next to his name.

In addition to this, the Mali international was named by Hammers captain Declan Rice as one of the top five opponents he has ever faced.

West Ham supporters have rejoiced on social media at the thought of a possible transfer move for the midfielder this summer, after a couple of great seasons in the Premier League.

In the past, Bissouma has attracted attention from some of the league’s biggest clubs, including Manchester City and Liverpool.

A potential partnership next to Declan Rice could make for one of the most formidable midfield’s in Europe, and if West Ham have a chance to sign him then they should step up their interest quickly.
