Nathan Holland is one of the most exciting young talents West Ham have at the moment, but has been celebrating more than goals.

The attacking midfielder has tweeted about it being his birthday, as he turns 21…

Holland has one first team appearance to his name so far, after making his debut against Bolton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup – having come on for the game’s final 28 minutes.

He has made the bench on four other occasions across the Premier League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup, though hasn’t been brought onto the pitch again yet.

However, there is hope that the now 21-year-old will be able to be involved with the first team on a more regular basis this season, even with competition being stiff in the attacking midfield and wing areas.

Holland has impressed numerous times for the Under 23s – notably scoring their first ever London Stadium goal with a wonderful curling effort from outside the box.

While he will be enjoying his birthday, Holland – and West Ham fans judging by their responses to his tweet – will have his progression into the Hammers first team in mind.
