Ravel Morrison has told the club he wants to move to Fulham before the transfer window closes, according to Goal.

The Cottagers are the only club to have shown concrete interest in Morrison in the current transfer window, despite the likes of Newcastle United and Manchester United being linked with a move for the 20-year-old midfielder, and are believed to be preparing a £5million plus add-ons bid to bring him to Craven Cottage.

It is understood that the Hammers are willing to cash in on the youngster in order to boost their transfer coffers to strengthen in other areas of the squad, but it is not yet known whether a £5million fee would tempt them to sell to a relegation rival.

Morrison worked with Fulham manager Rene Meulensteen at Manchester United and is reportedly eager to be reunited with him before the window closes at the end of the month.

The midfielder has an £18million release clause in his contract, while another clause states thew Hammers must quadruple his wages to around £60,000-per-week if a bid of at least £10million is made.

After joining  the Hammers from United for £650,000, Morrison spent last season on loan at Birmingham City before breaking in to the first team this season. He has made 19 appearances in all competitions so far this season, scoring 5 goals.
