Michail Antonio sadly parted ways with West Ham over the summer, ending an era that saw him become the club’s record Premier League goalscorer.
The striker’s departure came after a horrific car crash in December, which nearly cost him his life.
Remarkably, Antonio made a full recovery and returned to training with West Ham, but a new contract was never offered. Despite his contributions over the years, the club has now officially cut all ties, without any formal farewell.
West Ham’s struggles in front of goal this season have been evident without their record scorer, making Antonio’s exit all the more significant.
Yet, the club’s loss could quickly become a rival’s gain.
Antonio Training with Brentford

According to leading Hammers insider ExWHUemployee, Antonio has been training with West Ham’s Premier League rivals Brentford in a bid to earn a contract.
“He seems to be currently training with Brentford with a view to earning a contract there,” ExWHUemployee stated on X.
Hammers News reports that Brentford are set to make a decision on Antonio over the current international break.
And, in a strange twist of fate, West Ham’s next game after the break is against Brentford at the London Stadium, meaning Antonio’s first game since leaving could be against his former club.
Antonio to score? You could almost bet your bottom dollar on it.
