West Ham striker Marko Arnautović has been pushing for a move to the Chinese Super League, as has reported by Sky Sports and it seems as though he will get it soon.

ExWHUEmployee has reported that a £23million bid has come in from a Chinese club, with the insider adding that the Hammers have decided to cut their losses with the want-away striker and have opted to get him out before he is set to return to pre-season.

Ex then added another update, stating that the Hammers are aiming to take the money earned from that deal and reinvest it into signing Maxi Gómez.

The Uruguayan still wants to stay in Spain, but Mario Husillos is doing all he can to persuade him to join West Ham, while Andrea Belotti in a list of other potential targets should that deal fall through.

Though aside from attempting to get Gómez into London Stadium, the priority at the moment seems to be getting Arnautović out of it.

The antics of the Austrian and his brother have become annoying and potentially disruptive, which means there a lot of people who simply want him out of the club.

Arnautović wants a move from West Ham and doesn’t seem to care how he gets it – he likely won’t be bothered by the fact he is now a strongly disliked figure at West Ham, as he is set to get that move soon.
