Manuel Pellegrini didn’t play any academy players during the 2-0 victory over Newport County, with Issa Diop and Albian Ajeti being the youngest at 22-years-old, as per Transfermarkt.

While there are various options of who it could be, with candidates including Conor Coventry and Ben Johnson, there are many fans hoping it will be Nathan Holland who gets the place in the side.
There have been previous calls for the 21-year-old to be given a chance already this season, especially after he scored eye-catching goals against Valencia B and Brentford B.
