With the international break having come around, West Ham are left to ponder on what went wrong against Crystal Palace, with no chance to put things right until the Everton game on the 19th.
After going 1-0 up at home, it is still a source of frustration that the Hammers allowed Palace to walk away from London Stadium with three points.
However, in order to try to lift the mood, West Ham’s Twitter account have looked at just how good the goal was:
Not the result we wanted last weekend but what a goal this was!

It was a brilliant move from the Hammers, that showed just what they are capable of, moving the ball across the pitch quickly until Ryan Fredericks’ low cross was finished off by Sebastien Haller.
Seeing this goal is not enough to bring joy to many West Ham fans though, as it merely acts as a reminder that they should have done this more often throughout the game.
Some fans in the replies to the tweet simply demanded that games against that level of opposition are won, while others questioned why play like this wasn’t on show more often.
A selection of Twitter reaction to the video can be seen below:
Yeah but win next time ok?

If we’d done more of this quick 1/2 touch passing, we would of won that game!

How can we be so good and so bad at the same time

Great goal, but just imagine if we had put a few more passes together, instead of sitting back and inviting them on

Yes but what happened after that was they sat back and let Palace snatch the game. It’s ok to play football on the floor and all that but let’s win those sorts of games.
