West Ham‘s 22/23 Umbro away shirt has been leaked ahead of the new season.

As is the case every single summer, there has been much anticipation surrounding the look of the Hammers’ home and away shirts.

The club released their new-look home shirt in June, which looks to be an early 90’s throwback.

And now it appears we’re getting closer to an official release of the away shirt, with a leaked photo portraying a black strip, with a patterned cuff on the sleeves.

It’s not the first time we’ve had a black shirt. The last time Umbro gave us a black strip was for the 2020/2021 campaign, with the third kit being all blag with gold logos.

The last time we had a black away kit was in 2017/2018, which had sky blue features on the shoulders and for the club’s crest.

So this is no real shock to see Umbro going back to black this season – if the leaked image is accurate, of course.
