It’s that time of year when fans start speculating what West Ham‘s new kits are going to look like for the following season.

Umbro have made some absolute crackers over the last few years, regularly paying homage to retro classics with a more modern take.

This season’s home strip was a modern take on the famous ‘Di Canio’ kit of 1999-2001, while they produced a timeless classic the season before for our 125th Anniversary Season.

And it certainly looks like they’ve pulled another one out of the bag if the below-leaked image is anything to go by.

The image, posted by Twitter account @COYIironscom, appears to show a modern take on the Bukta home strip worn by the Hammers between 1991 and 1993, with white and sky blue patterns across the shoulders, sky blue trim on the collar and sleeves and then an all claret body.

You can see the leaked image below…

It’s not yet confirmed whether it is guaranteed to be West Ham’s home shirt for the 2022/2023 campaign, but it certainly looks pretty legit.

There doesn’t seem to be any leaked images of the colour of the shorts and socks, but back in the early 1990’s they were both white, so I’m assuming it’s the same again here.

If it is legit, then I’m certainly a massive fan. Umbro may have just delivered yet another beauty!
