Preparations are currently underway for tonight’s clash between West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur at the London Stadium.

The stakes are high for both teams ahead of the London derby tonight.

Tottenham travel to West Ham on the back of nine consecutive league victories.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be chasing a tenth straight win to move to just one point behind Chelsea in the race for the title.

However, West Ham will look to be tricky customers tonight as they host high flying Spurs.

Slaven Bilic’s men have still not guaranteed their safety, although a win against Tottenham tonight would change that.

However, BBC Sport pundit Mark Lawrenson does not believe that the Hammers will pick up the win they need to ensure survival.

Lawrenson has predicted that Tottenham Hotspur will take all three points back to North London with them tonight with a 2-0 win.

Lawro said:“Spurs don’t concede many goals and the way they are winning is very impressive, as well as the results themselves.

“It is very difficult not to back them at the moment.”

His competitors for the weekend’s round of fixtures agree with him.

Tom Meighan and Serge Pizzorno from Kasabian have plumped for 3-0 and 2-0 Spurs wins respectively.
