Plenty of changes are set to occur at West Ham this summer, following the end of a turbulent season, but not all of them will be popular.

The Hammers will significantly rebuild their squad during the close-season but that will inevitably mean departures and fan-favourite James Collins is one of those tipped for an exit.

Wales international Collins has given years of service to the east London side but sees his contract at the London Stadium expire imminently, with no signs of a renewal being offered.

However, the 36-year-old gave supporters some positive encouragement with a post on social media stating he hasn’t left yet and he’ll know more in the next few weeks.

Not officially the end… I’m still a West Ham player and feel I have a lot to offer the club on and off the pitch next season and beyond, will no more in the next few weeks
