Chelsea may decide whether West Ham are successful in their move to sign AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca, according to Inside Futbol.

The Hammers have had a €30m bid for Bacca accepted by the Serie A giants, and have since offered the 29-year-old a contract worth €4.5m-a-year.

However, it was being reported yesterday that Bacca has asked to wait until Monday before making a decision on wether to move to east London – because he is still hoping for Atletico Madrid to come in for him.

However, Atletico have reportedly enquired about Chelsea’s Diego Costa and are currently waiting to hear back from Antonio Conte’s side.

Should they fail in their move to bring Costa back to La Liga, then it is believed they will turn to Bacca as an alternative.

This means Chelsea’s stance on Diego Costa’s future could ultimately leaves West Ham’s hopes of signing Bacca in the balance.
