The one thing that was so impressive about our win over Aston Villa in mid-week was the way in which we didn’t panic and starting doing reckless things in order to find the opening goal.
In years gone by we’ve seen us run out of ideas and then either settle for a draw or ultimately lose to a last minute goal against the run of play. But the players remained calm, composed and were ultimately rewarded for their patience.
