So we’re currently on the longest unbeaten run in the Premier League than anyone else – seven games.
And then if you include the win over Wolves in the FA Cup at the weekend, that’s eight games without loss ahead of our trip to Bournemouth on Tuesday.
We owe the Cherries one after they beat us 4-3 at the Boleyn Ground back in August, which is actually the last time we lost at home. So much for that dodgy home form everyone goes on about.
Anyway, our away form is even better and we’ve got a huge chance of climbing in to fifth position and just a point of fourth placed Tottenham.
Cheikhou Kouyate and Enner Valencia missed the Wolves game through injury and will face late fitness tests before this one, but we should finally see the main man Dimitri Payet back in the starting line up after two appearances off the bench following his return to full fitness. That is one hell of a huge boost.
But with Winston Reid back fit again, what will Big Slav do at the back? Here’s a look at how we think he’ll line his side up against Bournemouth on Tuesday night…
