After the awful performance and result against Crystal Palace, you simply wouldn’t put it past us to go and beat Chelsea tomorrow night.

It’s just a typical thing for West Ham to do. We always step up against the so-called ‘top six’, while we tend to consistently make things hard for ourselves against teams we should generally be beating.

We are yet to disgrace ourselves against any of the ‘top six’ this season. We’ve beaten Liverpool and Manchester City, and have been unlucky not to take more than a single point from our meetings with Man United and Tottenham.

So a big performance against leaders Chelsea tomorrow would not come as a surprise. Should Sam Allardyce tweak his starting XI?
