Alex Song being available is a huge boost to us as we try and get back to winning ways after an unconvincing festive period.

If Sam Allardyce decides to start him today then there can only one player he can replace, and that’s Kevin Nolan.

Nolan was so far off the pace against Everton on Tuesday night and it could be argued he cost us the game in the end, with the team having to carry him through the entire 90 minutes.

The fear is that it’ll go unnoticed by Sam Allardyce and he’ll opt to stick with Nolan, but we all know he should be dropped.

Other than that, we should see Andy Carroll return to the side after being rested against Everton, with Enner Valencia pushed out wide to accommodate him.

Aside from those two changes, we should expect to see the same same line up that went so close securing a place in the FA Cup fourth round on Tuesday, with Reid and Collins pairing up in the centre of defence.

Here’s how we think West Ham might line-up today…
