Given how close we came to securing a place in the FA Cup fourth round at Goodison Park last week, a loss tonight would be a huge disappointment.

It’s being mooted that Sam Allardyce is preparing to name his strongest XI for our replay with Everton tonight, which means we should expect to see Alex Song come back in to the side, replacing Kevin Nolan.

With just Diafra Sakho and Cheikhou Kouyate unavailable, there’s no reason why Allardyce shouldn’t be looking at fielding a side capable of taking an injury-ravaged Everton side to the cleaners.

Their last gasp draw against us and then a credible 1-1 draw with Champions Manchester City at the weekend will have given them confidence ahead of tonight, but you would argue we’re a much better side than them and can take advantage of their weaknesses.

Mid-week games under the lights at the Boleyn Ground always come with expectation. The atmosphere will undoubtedly be top notch once again, which should give us an even bigger advantage over Roberto Martinez’s men.

So here’s I think West Ham might line-up tonight…
