After our troubles in Europe the last thing we were expecting was winning so comfortably at the Emirates on Sunday.
Slaven Bilic’s decision to prioritise our opening Premier League game away to Arsenal over the Europa League paid off spectacularly as goals from Cheikhou Kouyate and Mauro Zarate ensure we started off our league campaign in the best way imaginable.
It truly was the perfect day for the mighty Hammers. But the aftermath has been even more perfect. The sight of Arsenal fans going in to meltdown has put a smile on everyone’s faces ever since the full time whistle on Sunday.
The Gunners faithful went in to absolute meltdown as the rest of the world stood, pointed at them and laughed hysterically. So, how’d the Premier League winning signing from Chelsea work out?
Of course there’s still 37 games to play this season. But just take a moment and enjoy the best things to come out of our victory over the Gooners yesterday…
Who knew everyone’s favourite Disney movie was on stage at the Emirates this summer?

Fair play, lad. Fair play.
He knew what was about to happen.
Because you need all the support you can get when you’re at the bottom of the league.
He got so caught up in the moment he forgot where he was. I love him already.
That vine never, ever gets old.
