Nathan Holland has scored an eye-catching goal for West Ham United U23s once again.
The 21-year-old got the only goal of the game as the Hammers beat Valencia B in the Premier League International Cup group stages:
Holland with the opener!
Ashby turns brilliantly in defence, passes it to Lewis, and his through-ball finds our left-winger goal-side of the defender; it’s a calm, composed finish, and we’re 1-0 up!#COYI (1-0) 8 pic.twitter.com/Ga444XKlGr

As shown in a video that West Ham’s official Twitter account uploaded later, he met the pass made in his direction, dribbled the ball away from the chasing pack and beat the goalkeeper.
This, along with other exploits such as his brilliant strike against Brentford and the first-ever U23s goal at London Stadium, has got fans talking.
Many have been impressed with the winger and want to see him given a chance in the first-team, with some touting the Carabao Cup tie against Oxford United as a chance to do that.
He has made one first-team appearance in his career so far, when he came on for the last 28 minutes of the Hammers’ 3-0 Carabao Cup win over Bolton Wanderers in 2017, as per Transfermarkt.
A selection of Twitter reaction to the goal can be seen below:
