West Ham have recalled keeper Stephen Henderson from his loan spell at Ipswich Town, the Portman Road club have confirmed.
It is believed Raphael Spiegel has picked up an injury, leaving Allardyce without a replacement for Jussi Jaaskelainen and giving him no choice but to activate the Irish stopper’s 24 hour recall clause.
Henderson was on his second loan spell at Ipswich and made a total of 24 appearances for the Championship side this season.
