Co-owner David Gold appeared on talkSport yesterday to discuss West Ham United and the summer transfer window.
David Gold was on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast radio show talking listeners through West Ham’s plans for the upcoming transfer window.
During his interview, Gold rubbished rumours linking West Ham with a move for Jack Wilshere as he claimed that we have good defenders, midfielders and wingers but need strikers.
Gold wants to sign two proven Premier League strikers.
He twice talks about money, implying that West Ham are struggling to compete financially.
West Ham fans flocked to social media to respond to David Gold’s comments about the quality of the current squad and his wish to sign two proven Premier League strikers.
The responses were a mixed bag but quite a lot of negativity was thrown towards Gold too.
