West Ham are interested in signing Napoli winger Hirving Lozano this summer and could land him for around £20million, according to reports coming out of Italy.

Tuttomercatoweb are claiming that the Hammers want to sign the Mexico international to add to their attacking firepower.

After arriving at Napoli three years ago, the 26-year-old has struggled to reach his top potential and could be looking for a move away from the Serie A.

West Ham have been looking for extra reinforcements going forward this summer, with the likes of Jesse Lingard, Armando Broja and Gianluca Scamacca all being linked to the club at some point.

Now, Lozano can be added to that list and he would be an excellent signing under David Moyes, whether he starts on the wing or leads the line.

With two years remaining on his contract, if West Ham can sign him for £20million it would be a great bargain and the Hammers would be acquiring a player of top quality.

His pace, dribbling abilities and eye for goal are all footballing qualities that he possesses, which is evident by the fact he has 39 goal contributions in 114 appearances for Napoli.

Alongside the likes of Jarrod Bowen, Pablo Fornals and Said Benrahma, Lozano would fit in excellently under David Moyes and his high work rate would suit West Ham’s current style of football.

If the Hammers do decide to pursue the skillful winger this summer then West Ham fans can look forward to an exciting 2022/2023 campaign.
